8080 S. DuSable Lake Shore Drive is a 400-acre master plan being developed by a joint venture of Related Midwest and CRG in South Chicago. The project’s first phase will be anchored by the Illinois Quantum & Microelectronics Park, a 128-acre quantum campus that will be constructed on the southern end of the site through a public-private partnership with the state of Illinois. Anchor tenants include PsiQuantum, a quantum computing company seeking to build the world's first commercially useful quantum computer, and IBM, a multinational technology firm that will operate a modular quantum computer on the site. The campus will also house cryo facilities and equipment labs, as well as research and office spaces where private companies and universities can collaborate.

The northern end of 8080 S. DuSable Lake Shore Drive will be anchored by Advocate Health Care, which is building a $300 million, 53-bed hospital on 23 acres. In addition to creating jobs and improving healthcare access, it will help attract ancillary commercial uses to the campus and surrounding community.

Situated along the Lake Michigan shoreline, near the mouth of the Calumet River, 8080 S. DuSable Lake Shore Drive is one of the largest contiguous infill waterfront properties in the country. The site previously housed the U.S. Steel South Works plant, which closed in 1992. The new campus is within walking distance of the Metra Electric 87th Street station, served by CTA bus routes and close to the Chicago Skyway and other major thoroughfares. It also provides access to multimodal transportation infrastructure serving the Illinois International Port District.
