Operating Portfolio Management We own and manage a premier portfolio of assets throughout Chicago and the Midwest. Our operating portfolio consists of a diversified mix of properties including luxury rental and condominium residences, commercial space, and affordable and workforce housing. We provide a diligently maintained property management platform which enables us to consistently exceed our residents’ and commercial tenants’ expectations. Our focus on, and commitment to, providing the highest and most personalized level of service is one of the hallmarks of the company and a key differentiator. Given our unique position as owner/operator and our visionary mindset, we have been a leading innovator in managing real estate assets. Affordable & Workforce Housing Affordable housing laid our foundation and remains a core pillar of our business today through Related Affordable. To date, we have developed, acquired and preserved more than 10,000 affordable residences and we have never converted a single unit to market-rate. Our expansive portfolio of affordable and mixed-income developments demonstrates our continued commitment to providing quality housing across a variety of geographically, economically and socially diverse neighborhoods. Many of the buildings we encounter are in need of substantial upgrading and preservation in order to continue to properly fulfill the needs of the residents. Given our almost 50 years of experience in debt and equity financing, as well as our extensive management of government assisted properties, we are well-positioned to buy-out existing owners who lack the resources and knowledge to recapitalize, and therefore wish to exit the affordable housing arena. In addition, with our extensive redevelopment experience, we bring the know-how to expertly rehabilitate the units, thus assuring the continued viability for years to come. We continue to actively look for affordable housing opportunities through the development, acquisition and refinancing of low, moderate and mixed-income properties in the Midwest. Fund Management Our fund management team, staffed with industry veterans, leverages our core expertise as a real estate development, investment and operating company coupled with our significant financial experience to manage capital on behalf of Related and third-party investors in a co-mingled format. We have raised over $5 billion of capital to date, and are primarily focused on opportunistic real estate investments; the origination and acquisition of debt; multifamily housing opportunities; and investments in infrastructure-related development, management and services.
